NBC Olympics Portable Studio Enclosure and Stage Set

Pueblo, Sydney, Salt Lake, Athens. Structural Design, Project Management for fabrication and erection with continued involvement since 1997. Designed acoustic enclosures withadequate strength to support existing scenic elements from Atlanta. Structure is shipped in 35 40' shipping containers. Each erection involved structural modification reflecting client requirements to fit the structure to each venue. Developed budgets for finances, labor, equipment, and consumables with erector. Provided on site direction for labor, general conditions, and structure modification.

Jones Beach Marine Theater, Stage Roof,
Wantaugh, NY

Structural design of a stage roof for existing outdoor venue. The roof spans 118' cross stage and is 84' deep. Two catwalk trusses form the main structural members that support 6' deep truss joists that form the upstage to downstage span. Designed to handle full exposure hurricane winds and snow loads as the structure is located in the Long Island Sound. Worked closely with the fabricators, erector, and venue managers to deliver the project for the beginning of the 2003 concert season. Provide yearly inspection and specific loading requirement analysis.

NFL Kick-Off 2003, Washington, D.C.

Structural verification of stage structures for NFL 2003 Season Kick-Off celebration. Structures included two arches (160' wide x 72' tall and 125' wide x 60' tall), sound wing towers, and various delay sound and video screen towers, All structures were constructed of prefabricated steel and aluminum trusses.
